Mrs. Elese Williams

Mrs. Elese C. Williams, 95 of Lanett, Alabama went home to Jesus on Monday, June 29, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on September 6, 1924 to Hieburnia (Fannings) Ross and William Beal of Tallapoosa, Alabama. She graduated from Lanier High School and received her degree in Education from Clark Atlanta University. She taught many years in the school system and also worked as a laborer for Totes Isotoner Corporation.  She was a member of Goodsell United Methodist Church.

She leaves to cherish her memories: son -in-law, Willie L. Johnson, Jr., Lanett, AL; aunt: Jo Frances House - Jackson; grandsons: Anthony ( Tracey) Williams, Christopher (Rudine) Johnson and Gregory Johnson; granddaughters: Tonya Johnson and Tabitha (Arthur) English, great grandchildren: Marquette Winston, Jessica Griffith Neal, Andrè Johnson, Jasmine and Kadejah English, Cody and Kathelyn Williams; great grandchildren: Alonzo, Jordan, Elijah, AJ Jr., Isaiah Jalen and David; and a host of extended family, cousins, friends and church family.

A graveside service for Mrs. Williams will be held on Monday July 6, 2020 at noon in Pine Hill Cemetery with Rev. Andre` L. Johnson Sr., eulogist and Rev. Dr. Jesse J. Walker II officiating.
