Mrs. Barbara Andrews

 Mrs. Barbara Jean Andrews, 77, of Riverdale, Georgia entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Southern Regional Medical Center, Riverdale, Georgia. She was born on May 18, 1944, in Lanett, Alabama to the late Alfred Sr. and Hattie Mae Boyd.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Alfred Sr., Hattie and Hannah Boyd; four brothers: Hugh Boyd, Aubrey Lee Boyd, Tyrone Boyd, and Alfred Boyd Jr. 

Mrs. Barbara Jean Andrews leaves to cherish her precious memories, her loving and devoted husband of 59 years: Willie Andrews; two loving daughters: Varis Andrews-Evans (Jeffrey), Kamla Sandiford (Scott); a son: Keionn Andrews; a granddaughter: Kandece Evans; four grandsons: Wesley Sandiford, Kelsey Sandiford, Kelton Evans, and Kristian Evans; beloved aunt: Betty Shamel; two uncles: Hugh Bledsoe and Byron Bledsoe; brothers-in-love: Milford Andrews, Aaron Andrews, and Grady Billingslea; sisters-in-love: Mabell McLemore, Mary Dyer, Mytice Collins, Catherine Andrews, Yolanda Vines, and Teresa Billingslea; extended family: Ethyien Brown, Wanda Feaster, Darren and Sandra Gooding, Shawn and Vanessa Gooding, Ervin and Tasha Terry.

Special acknowledgements to her dear cousins: Betty Boyd, Janice Burton, Lavone Johnson, Gloria “Pat” Jones, Arthur Potts, Angela Shamel, and Rev. Reginald Wright, as well as her godchildren, and friends who she adored like family.

Family viewing will be held from 5 p.m. until 6 p.m. EST, Wednesday August 18, 2021 at Morgan & Sons Funeral Home followed by public viewing from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. EST. 

 Graveside service will be 2 p.m. EST, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Hillcrest Gardens Cemetery (3405 Country Club Rd. Lanett, AL) with Rev. Reginald Wright officiating.
